My Homeland
This is where I am from baby!!!! Well my trip to Malaysia ended on Tuesday afternoon on July 17th. I miss my family, friends and food the most. Even though I have been away for a long time and I am not sure when I will be going home again, I always feel like I never left when I get there. Its nice being in the citizen line during immigration at the airport. I hope to see my family and friends again soon!
Red Box Karoake
Here are the lovely ladies. The one thing I like about Karoake nights here in Asia is that you get your own private room and server. You can make the fools out of yourselves and noone would know except your server and your friends. Its fun!!!! I would definitely recommend it if you ever make it to Asia.
Here are the guys.
I haven't been to a Karoake Bar in like 10 years. It is so much fun just relaxing, drinking, eating, conversating, and watching Jeremy sing. Its the funniest thing.
Trust me I didn't sound good at all.
Heres me and Sharene.
Jeremy Chan, married man. Hes happy!!!
What was I singing?
Jeremy and Ping Ling singing a love song together.
I was having a blast!!!!!
Half of the room singing.
Here we are again!!! Besides English songs, their inventory stretches to Chinese songs and Malay songs.
Heres Stephanie singing. Shes got a good voice.

Post Wedding Pics
Its was a big day that day. It was around 6.30am. We just got done with breakfast. I met Jeremy in his hotel room to help him with this outfit for the day.
Before we departed the hotel. We decorated the groomsmen's car with some ribbons on the handles.
We are off to the bride's house to pick her up. Trust me it aint as easy as it sounds.
Here we are posing before facing our sets of obstacles and challenges that the bridemaids had planned for us.
Here we are just getting out of the car.
LOL. Jeremy the singer. Heres him singing "You've Lost That Love and Feeling" by the Righteous Brothers.
The second thing in line was writing poems. I am not good in words so I turned to the local paper for some inspirations. We had two to write.
Well, Jeremy passed the first gate of the house. But wait!!!
Waxing legs was next. That part was hilarious.
Here were downing some lord knows what drink they gave us. I later found out that each glass was either sweet, sour, salty and bitter. I had the sweet one! Thank God!
Next up is the red pocket. We have satisfy the bridesmaids with money enough so they could let us in. We started with a $50 bill and ended with Jeremy's credit card. LOL.
Heres Jeremy and Ping Ling. We had to come up with I LOVE YOU in 5 different languages.
Aren't they cute. This is the church where we grew up and now he is getting married here. The moment is almost here.
The ceremony was sweet.
The sweet kiss. Church rated he promised. LOL.
Next up was the tea ceremony. I wish nothing them nothin but the best in life. I was so happy for them.

Flamenco Performance
Last night, I decided to experience another incredible Latin Dance only this time, i get to watch and take some pictures. Knowing one of my friends performing on stage along with established musicians and dancers in KC, it was an event I could'nt afford to miss. It was held at the Mission Theatre on Johnson Drive in Kansas City.
When I walked in, the intimate raised stage with red curtains, some chairs and a guitar on a stand stood all alone in silence while the 8 white tables with spectators waiting anxiously but patiently. I have heard a little about the amount of passion and power that goes into this Art Form. The one thing that gets me excited is to see another Artist expressing him/herself freely and passionately on stage to share.
My talented friend Zhana in action. I first met her in Tango. We went to the same post graduate college together in town. After losing in touch with her for 3 years. We met again and now she is mastering one of the most sensual, passionate and powerful dance on stage.
Heres Miel Castagna awaits for her queue to start dancing. At this time, the musicians started the intro to the music. As they builds up, the dancers join in.
Here is special guest from Sevilla, Spain: The lovely Melinda Hedgecorth - baile. She performed about three powerful numbers on stage that left us breathless. Her powerful tap and passion that roars through her movements and spins captured the moment. Musicians and dancers interact as they sing and apply emphasis to create more drama in the performance.
At the end, the dancers each get a moment to shine. The rest cheered on. Here's Zhana's turn.
This is probably my favorite shot of all. Need i say more. The balance in the pic both composition and the weight of each dancers. I can almost feel the music and their tapping rumbling the stage as the music played on.

More Tango Pics
Milonga July 20th.
Tonight was a Milonga to honor Melanie's last few weeks here in Kansas City. Heres Mike and Melanie dancin together during their second performance of the night. Incredible!!!!
They performed a second number that evening. What a treat.
Heres Mike and Stephanie dancing.
Melanie and boy dancing. How cute yall.
I believe here are Mike and Toi Shaw.
Kansas City has talent. Here are some of our very own Tango dancers. I support them because I appreciated the Art and the number of dedicated dancers who do what they do because they love it.
