Sea of bamboos

This is the hotel we lodged at.

Southern Sichuan Bamboo Sea is one of the greenest forests i have ever been to in my life. Apparently this is where they shot parts of the film Crouching tiger and Hidden Dragon. Anyway, it was rather foggy as we climbed the mountain. Quite the adventure and the scenic spots were incredible.

This is the character for buddha.

Another talent you'll see there. Bamboo carving

Shu Feng Ya Yun opera house is situated in CHengdu Culture Park on Qintai road. Here you will find performances which exhibits Sichuan's traditional arts such as Sichuan opera, stick-puppet show, hand shadow show, changing faces show...etc.

Some tea and peanuts on the house to start the show off.

Openin act.

Puppet show. Here you see the puppet spinning the cloth on her hand.

Oh yeah, her eye winks as well. Neat!!!

Heres the hand shadow master. What talent!!!! Branson watchout!!!!!!Some missouri humor for you folks out there.

My fav. act was when the dog ate the rabbit. It was cool. He even showed how the dog swallowed the rabbit. Relax, its fake.

Honey, this is for you!!!!

Heres one of my fav act. The wife punishes the husband. Pretty cool!

Heres the changing mask act. I heard that this art is passed down once to the next generation and only to a male in the family.
