Symphony in the Flint Hills have recently been an annual event for me. It is also one of many opportunities to seek new inspirations from this vast land of Majestic Hills. I am honored and proud to be able to participate and contribute to this wonderful event and cause. I hope you can make it and have a look at my recent inspiration up close. The marriage of colors, texture and depth of the painting can't be justified by a photo no matter how hard I try. The painting will be for sale at an auction at the event this June. Symphony in the Flint Hills 2011 will take place June 11, 2011 in the Fix Pasture, Volland, Kansas. Located adjacent to Mill Creek Scenic drive in beautiful Wabaunsee County.
