Last Dance in KL

My last night dancing at Little Havana. I was so fortunate to have been able to meet so many more wonderful dancers and friends whom I will surely miss. But one thing for sure, I can't wait to be back to dance again. I realized that the salsa community here and Kansas City have many things in common. Everyone there had a great time. There are much diversity in the community and a very positive environment. I am so proud to be part of one in Kansas City.

Susanne and I.

We were hungry so decided to go out and have some supper.

A day with Sharene

Here we are Sharene and I. We met through a mutual friend of mine since 4th grade and we have been friends ever since. After all these years apart, it felt like i have never left. Well Sharene took a day off to take me around the city. We had such a great time. We had duck in the car for lunch, saw the palace, walked around the city and shopped. Anyway, It was so good to spend some time with her.

The high and mighty court in Malaysia.

Sharene! What are you reporting on this time?

Some urban art in the city. LOL

Heres an old photo of what Malaysia was like when White settlers settled in Malaysia.

Apparently this piece of rock is a ruin from the Hiroshima Bombing era.

Here is where we bought the duck from. Man was it good!!!!

We were so happy!!!!

Off to Putrajaya. When i got there. The first thing that went through my mind was: Well its gorgeous but couldn't we have spent the money on improving roads, security, fighting crimes and other problems we are having in the country.

THank you! I feel much cooler.

A great scene of Merdeka Square in KL.

Heres Sharene jumpin for joy. It was funny when we started jumpin in front of the cameras. Some tourists copied our fun as we were leaving. Its all good.

Next we went in the history museum. The museum displayed Malaysian history about our Independence during 1957.

Well, heres the last place we went to. Welcome to the royal palace.

Here we are wishing we live there. LOL

It it needs is a beach and some white sand!!!!

Salsa in Kuala Lumpur

So I decided to check out another Salsa Dancing club in Kuala Lumpur. It was called the Little Havana. It was a blast mainly becos I brought some friends who were interested and taught them a few dances like cha cha, salsa and merengue. They were quick learners. Had so much fun with them.

My experience with the salsa scene has been a great one so far. It was pretty easy to meet people there. The ones that I met and quickly became good friends with were extremely nice and talented as well on the dance floor. Soon, we kept in touch and were constantly informing ea. other where dancing was.
