The red circle is where Francis Light lies. Hes a british who founded Penang. This cemetery was within walking distance from my hotel. It was peaceful under the shady trees despite the heavy traffic outside the walls.
We climbed this mountain by car and tried some durian. We orderd seven and finished them all within six of us. THats alot of durian. Most i have eaten in my entire life. What a delicacy. I cant remember when the last time i was standing underneath a durian tree but again are you sure you wanna after seeing those thorny fruits. Each could weigh up to 25lbs. Trust me thats suicide if you ask me.
So we ventured around Penang and I was most interested in the older architectures of Penang and the heavy culture of the chinese settlers in the city. Here are some historical buildings that are homes, convenient stores, restaurants and some parts of the city theres modern hip hang out joints in these architectures.
Here we are crossing the Penang bridge. Its about 6 miles long.
We left the city Kuala Lumpur at 7am Saturday monrning. We are on the way to meet up with my cousin from Ipoh which is on the way to Penang Island. We are headed roughly 320km north from Kuala Lumpur.
