Home

I spent my first 10 years of my life in this house. Obviously the house looked alot different back then. This hous was once shared by my mom's family plus my family. It was rather crowded so my family moved after 4th grade. Needless say, this house has quite a history. Built in the 50's around WW2, i remember stories about it told by my grandmother when she was still here with us. I have so many questions i wanted to ask her now that I am older.

Marble Extraction in progress

On the way to my hometown, the landscape is filled with greeneries and mostly mountains and hills. Some of them are used for extracting marble.

One of the biggest malls in Malaysia. Malaysia has also one of the best nightlives in the world. Love it!!!! You'll find the best authentic food at any hour of the night.

My uncle, aunts, grandma and dad. We were leaving for dinner.

A few days after my arrival, My family and I drove to a state called Perak, north from Kuala Lumpur to visit my grandmother. This is where my dad grew up. I wanted to know more about my dad's family history. I also spent sometime here when I was very young during Chinese New Years playing with my cousins and visiting relatives from my Dad's side. Here are some images of this one block big town.

On the way to the American Embassy

Some pretty flowers a few blocks away from my destination that day.

Malaysian Amtrak. Its a train station.

My least fav day of the trip so far is the day I had to visit the American Embassy. Standing in line was the least fun part of the experience. Anyway, I made the best out of it by capturing some glimpse of the city while in cab rides and during my foot journey. Enjoy!!!!
